We believe the nature of the church is one of divine origin, divine leadership, and divine purposes.
Divine Origin: Christ instituted the church as a vital part of God’s divine plan for man. The origin of the church was in and through Christ. (Eph. 1:22-23) (II Cor. 5:17)
Divine Leadership: Christ is the head of the church and provides continuing leadership. The church is His body. (Acts 20:28) (Matt. 28:18)
Divine Purpose: is to evangelize a lost world to God through faith in Jesus Christ, teaching them to obey God in all things, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you: Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. (Matt. 28:19-20)
- The Mission of St. Paul MBC is to be a dynamic spiritual organism, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to share Christ with as many people as possible in our church, community, and throughout the world.
- To be a worshipping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His presence, and responding in obedience to His leadership.
- To experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers, worshipping Him and not man.
- To help people experience a growing knowledge of God, His Son Jesus Christ through divine inspiration of His Holy Spirit.
- To be a church that ministers unselfishly to persons in the community and the world in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
- To be a church that strives to be Christ-like in our daily lives by surrendering our person and possessions to the will of God under the lordship of Christ according to His holy and divine word.
